Summary:
Assists with day-to-day full-charge bookkeeping functions for clients.
Core Responsibilities:

· Actively sit and pass the CPA/CFP examination
Essential Functions:
· Works closely with the team handling all day-to-day bookkeeping functions.
· Assists with receiving, entering, approving, and, when necessary, investigating client's accounts payable invoices.
· Handles client’s accounts receivable.
· Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with clients, client suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts.
· Monthly Bank Reconciliations
· Books journal entries
Nonessential Functions:
· Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants or partners.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· QuickBooks, Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word
· Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.
· Knowledge of computerized accounting
· Ability to handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Working Conditions:
· Heavy overtime during February, March, April, and December.
· Works in the office 98% of the time.
· Minimal Hazards.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Great communication and organizational skills
· Prior experience in Business Management preferred

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data,
- Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures,
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data,
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted,
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers,
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status,
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes.
Skill Set:
- Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk,
- Solid understanding of basic book-keeping and accounting payable principles,
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records,
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers,
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software,
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office, and
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
